SHEAR CONNECTORS

Shear links are provided to carry the shear forces induced by the applied loads on RCC elements.  Shear force is the force that transfers the applied load to the support. As discussed above, shear link reinforcement is inevitable in the beam.

UNDER PINNING

Underpinning is a process of strengthening an existing foundation by intrusion methods.

STRENGTHENING OF SLABS

There are techniques used for strengthening a reinforced concrete slab such as: Increasing the shear bearing capacity of the slab by adding steel plates, strengthened by vertical screw bolts. Strengthening of the slab by post stressed reinforcement & Adding steel beams.

COLUMN JACKETING

Jacketing has been considered as one of the important methods for strengthening and retrofitting of concrete element. Jacketing of concrete elements is done by enlarging the existing cross section with a new layer of concrete that is reinforced with both longitudinal and transverse reinforcement

STRUCTURAL STEEL SUPPORT

This process involve Taking delivery from stores, loading, transportation, unloading at site, fabrication and erection of structural steel with mild steel rolled section / built up section / Castellated beams and their combination in columns, beams, stiffeners, wall beams, brackets, stub columns, bracings, cleats, trestles, base plates, splice plates, etc

STEEL PLATE BONDING

This is the process of protection against damage in transit, stability of structures, installation of temporary structures, setting column bases, surface preparation by means of manual or mechanical power tools.

STRENGTHENING OF FOOTING

Strengthening of footings is required in the case of applying additional loads or design defficiency. Widening and strengthening of existing footing is carried out by constructing a concrete jacket to the existing footings.

FIBRE WRAPPING

It is used for flexural, shear or confinement strengthening of structural members and ensure minimum disturbance to the structural members as compared to other conventional methods.
Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP wrap) technology is a new type of structural reinforcement technology. It refers to the use of high-performance resin adhesives to paste carbon fiber cloth on the surface of building structural components, so that both work together to improve the bearing capacity of structural components (bending, shear) so as to achieve the purpose of strengthening and reinforcing the building.
